Starting from the design of sheet metal products, followed by the sheet metal machining drawing, the sheet metal unfolding drawing, laser cutting, sheet metal bending, welding, polishing, painting, packaging, and delivery to the customer.
First of all, sheet metal design is necessary, and in the design, consideration of bending is unavoidable. Insufficient design can lead to scrap of sheet metal parts, difficulty in processing, and inability to form. Sheet metal bending process is the key to sheet metal machining design.
Bending processing usually consists of three parts, from top to bottom: upper die, sheet metal die, and lower die. The upper and lower die jointly determine the arc radius of the sheet metal bending, which is easy to understand.
According to engineering experience, the bending radius should be controlled within a certain reasonable range and not too large or too small. If the radius of curvature is too small, the curved part of the sheet metal may crack. If the bending radius is too large, the bending effect cannot be achieved and the rebound angle is difficult to control.
In fact, regardless of the size of the bending radius, there will be a rebound angle within the mechanical deformation range of the sheet metal itself after bending, so the actual bending angle should be the sum of the predetermined angle of the die and the natural rebound deformation angle. Consider whether the machine tool can be directly used for positioning. Otherwise, retain two small square blocks for positioning, and remove them after bending.
Consideration of the bending direction of metal sheets: especially the bending of non-ferrous metals and copper sheets. Since the orientation of material texture in the rolling process depends on its texture direction, it is required that the texture direction of the material be perpendicular to the bending direction, rather than parallel bending, which is easy to produce bending cracks.
Leave bending clearance: When sheet metal is folded, there is a flanging relationship between the two bending surfaces. When making an unfolding drawing, the bending should avoid producing clearance to eliminate the rebound. Therefore, the clearance should be left to avoid bending rebound.
